About Me
I was born in Winston-Salem in 1976. I attended elementary, middle school, and high school at Gospel Light Christian School. Upon graduation I headed to Chattanooga, TN to attend Tennessee Temple University. I graduated in four years with a BS in Biology, a minor in Bible, a second minor in Coaching and Physical Education, and almost completed a third minor in Political Science! While attending TTU I played on the college volleyball and basketball teams, served as the president of the TTU Crew and ran for student body president. I stayed at TTU after graduation and worked as the University's special event coordinator, and was the assistant coach of the college volleyball team. A year later I moved to Tallahassee, FL and began teaching at North Florida Christian School. There I taught Biology and Anatomy, coached JV volleyball and varsity basketball. A year and a half later I returned to Winston-Salem where I met my husband while teaching at West Forsyth High School. I have also worked at East Forsyth and Calvary Baptist Day School, and Reynolds. Between the four I have taught Biology, Earth, Physical Science, Anatomy, Environmental Science, conducted Freshman Orientation for two years, and was the CERTL (A program of Wake Forest Bowman Gray School of Medicine) Biology tutor on campus, I also coached JV volleyball, JV basketball, and Varsity Basketball. Reagan High School is my home! I LOVE it here! I have My husband, Britt (who works at East Forsyth High School), and I have an 9 year old daughter, Lorelai and a 6 year old boy named Lincoln.
